Stephenson Nuttall

Stephenson Nuttall is a progressive general practice accountancy firm with its roots deep in the business community of the East Midlands. The origins of the practice date back to 1863 but the firm was established in its existing format in 1938 when Tom Nuttall acquired the practice of Stephenson Nuttall & Co then operating from 22 Castle Gate, Newark. In 1968 the practice moved to its current location at 6-8 Castle Gate, Newark.

The practice has three partners, Tom Hudson, Adrian Haigh and Ashley Akeroyd, who lead an experienced and professional team. We provide a complete range of taxation, accountancy and audit services for local businesses and individuals.

The practice benefits from an excellent reputation with all clients having direct contact with a partner. Our clients enjoy the way that complex issues are explained in plain language and are easily understood and speak of a business that is “friendly”, “proactive” and “reliable”.

We are always looking to extend our client base and welcome contacts from potential new clients. Should you need help or perhaps just a sensible conversation about your requirements then please contact us to arrange a meeting. As part of the ICAEW’s Business Advice Service, we offer a free initial consultation to start-ups and small to medium sized businesses.

Stephenson Nuttall is the trading name of Stephenson Nuttall & Co.
